Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Please review our cancellation and refund guidelines for each event type below.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]

Tournament Cancellations - Requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]

✓More than 14 days before the tournament: A full refund will be issued.
✓8–14 days before the tournament: A credit will be issued toward a future Mah Jongg Mania tournament.
✓7 days or fewer before the tournament: A credit will be issued only if we can fill your spot from our waiting list. If we cannot fill your spot, no refund or credit will be issued.
✓Day-of cancellations and no-shows: No refund or credit will be issued

✓Cancellations made 14 or more days before the Boot Camp date will receive a full refund.
✓Cancellations made 7–13 days before the Boot Camp date will receive a credit for a future Boot Camp event.
✓Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the Boot Camp date are non-refundable.
✓Your spot may be transferred to another player with advance notice — contact us to arrange.

✓Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event date will receive a full refund.
✓Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event date are non-refundable.
✓If you selected the lunch option, cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance as food orders are placed in advance.

✓In the rare event that Mah Jongg Mania must cancel or postpone an event, all registered participants will be notified promptly by email.
✓Full refunds will be issued for any event cancelled by Mah Jongg Mania.
✓In the case of a postponement, registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date. Refunds will be available upon request.
✓Mah Jongg Mania is not responsible for travel, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants.

✓Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: A full refund will be issued.
✓Cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the event: The hotel and food portions of the registration fee are non-refundable. Any remaining eligible balance will be issued as a credit that may be used for future Mah Jongg Mania events.
✓Day-of cancellations and no-shows: No refund or credit will be issued.
✓Credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months of the original Stay & Play event.

✓Email your cancellation request to [email protected] with your name, event, and payment method.
✓Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
✓Venmo and Zelle refunds are returned to the original account used for payment.
✓Please allow additional time during peak event periods.
