Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:

At Mah Jongg Mania, we understand that plans can change. To provide fairness to all participants and to ensure a smooth tournament experience, we have established the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Deadline: Participants must notify Mah Jongg Mania of their cancellation at least 7 days prior to the scheduled tournament date for a full refund. 

Cancellation Notification: 

If you need to cancel your participation in the tournament, please follow these guidelines:

• For cancellations made more than a week before the event, kindly send an email to mahjonggmania23@gmail.com using the subject line "Tournament Cancellation" followed by your name.
• If it's within 7 days of the tournament, please reach out via phone call or text to Lori at 631- 220-9483 or Michele at 631-375- 3786 to inform us  about your cancellation.

Credit for Next Tournament: Participants who cancel within 6 days of the tournament will receive a credit that can be applied to the entry fee of a future scheduled tournament.

Credit Redemption: The credit will be valid for use within 3 months from the date of the canceled tournament. Participants must register online for a subsequent tournament within this period to utilize the credit.

Non-Transferable: Credits are non-transferable and can only be applied to the participant's entry fee for the next Mah Jongg Mania tournament.

No Show or last minute cancellation   Participants who fail to provide the required notice less than 48 hours before the tournament or do not show up for the tournament without prior cancellation will forfeit their entry fee and will not be eligible for a credit for future tournaments. 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our cancellation policy. Please ensure timely communication if you need to cancel your participation in our tournaments so that your spot can be filled.
